The following items will be considered by Commissioners' Court for discussion and/or action: The Court may go into Executive Session to discuss legal matters.

ORDER OF BUSINESS

1. The Court to Declare a Quorum

2. Consent Agenda

a. Regular Meeting - October 8, 2007

3. Approval of Utility Easements, Burial of Telephone Cables and Construction of Water Distribution Facilities:

a. The Court to consider approving a request from Farmers Electric Cooperative to construct electrical power distribution facilities along and across County Road 2434 in Precinct 2.

4. The Court to Consider Citizens' Comments

5. Other County Business:

a. The Court to establish a Reinvestment Zone

b. The Court to consider approving a tax abatement agreement between Hopkins County and Fred and Gina Raine DBA Raine Tank and Fabrication.

c. The Court to consider approving a tax abatement agreement between Hopkins County and GSC Enterprises Inc./DBA Fidelity Express.

d. The Court to consider acting on bids for the (2) new 2007 or 2008 model Police pick-up trucks pursuant to the County Purchasing Act.

e. The Court to consider a resolution supporting the formation of the initial Board of Directors of the Hopkins County Regional Mobility Authority (SURRMA) which includes mr. Roger Feagley and Mr. Joe Mac Gober.

f. The Court to consider approving monthly reports.

g. The Court to hold a Public Hearing so there will be an opportunity for the General Public to make final comments on the Hopkins County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan.

h. The Court to consider a Resolution approving the adoption and approval of the Hopkins County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan and the appointment of a Hazard Mitigation Coordinator.

6. The Court will Consider and Act on Payment of Bills, Revenues and Expenses and Financial Statements.

7. The Court to Consider Budget Amendments and Line Item Transfers.

8. The Court to Consider Contracts.

9. The Court will Consider Contracts.

10. The Court to Consider Disposal of Asset Request.

11. The Court to Approve Resolutions and Proclamations.

12. The Court to go into Executive Session with Mr. Jim Allison from Allison, Bass & Associates to consult with Counsel. In Accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 When the Governmental Body may Conduct a Consultation With its Attorney.

13. The Court to Possibly Act on the Subject Discussed in Executive Session.

14. The Court to Adjourn.
